MINISTRY HISTORY

In December 2017 Teach Men to Fish launched the official start of the vocational training apprenticeship program in Mityana, Uganda. We worked with a youth group called Namukozi Integrated Youth Organization, which is located in the village of Namukozi in the Anglican Diocese of Mityana.

This group of 22 young men and women, with the support of parents, community leaders, and the church community of Mityana Diocese, are fully committed to bring about change, and to break the cycle of poverty by adopting ideas of group entrepreneurship beginning in the area of construction. During the commissioning of the program, it was stressed to the youth to demonstrate good behavior and teamwork, and to put God first in all their undertakings.
