About Patrick Lutalo

Patrick Lutalo was born and raised in Uganda, Africa. He traveled to the United States for higher education and began his career in the construction industry. Reflecting on the poverty and hopelessness of many young people in Uganda, he was inspired to share his skills and created Teach Men to Fish.

Patrick goes for three months every year to train apprentices in construction skills. In addition, he is a short-term missionary with the Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders (SAMS), a long-established Anglican/Episcopal organization (https://samsusa.org).
